Hey there -
We're off Sado (whah!!) and in Tokyo. The city feels strange and we're all home sick for the apprentices - we miss them all. We kind of can't believe that we're in this great big city. The hustle and bustle is pretty overwhelming after being on an island.
This is Kodo Village - where we got to see Kodo practice. Once inside we got treated to Zoku. I was so touched that we were in Japan seeing Kodo play that I burst into tears.
The Kodo Apprentices were by far the best part of my trip so far. They hosted us with generosity and love - this is how we were greeted when we got off the bus.
