Apprentice center

Hi!!

Here are some videos around the practice center -- 

Words can't really describe our days with the apprentices. We sang, danced, chatted, laughed, and cried throughout our time together. When we went to bed at midnight they stayed up to prep our meals when I woke up at 5am they were always in the kitchen getting ready for the next day. They worked their butts off for us. 

Three of the apprentices studied with our friend Mami from Kyoto!! They were so surprised that we knew her. One of them cried when I said that she would be proud of the fact that they were a Kodo Apprentice. The woman in blue above is one of her students. All the Kodo apprentices dance and sing as well as play taiko!

At our farewell dinner at the Apprentice center - the 1st year apprentices sang this song for us. 

At our farewell dinner in Hananoki 6 senior members of Kodo came for dinner where we entertained each other with taiko, fue, song, and dance till late in the night.
