We got lost getting to the international terminal at JFK! We were so excited to be on our way we didn't pay attention!

Yeah, well, this isn't all of us -- but we were quite an impressive number walking through the airport.

This woman won the Odaiko Contest this year. She was amazing. After they played they invited us to play the Odaiko. We were like 'you've got to be kidding me', kind of a hard act to follow -  but we did. We got a clip of Joy playing Kashmir.

I was able to bring a photo from the last time I visited Asano taiko in 1998. We bought our very first drum (our okedo) in 1998 and Mr. Asano was so impressed that we came all the way from the US to see him. This was way before he had a lot of US visitors. We brought him Omiyage and thanked him for selling us our first drum. He also knows Megan from Shidara very well and was happy to know her connection to ONE - it's nice to be building relationships with people. He said next time KASA should come to Asano and they will do a workshop for them  -- more to come.
