Procrastinating

It's Sunday night. We leave for Japan Tuesday morning. I'm supposed to be packing. I hate packing. I'd rather do the dishes than pack. I'd rather do laundry. I'd rather run errands. I'd rather start our new Blog. Now there is no excuse, the sink is clean and there are no more errands to run - it's time to pack. I hate packing. Maybe I'll start our blog ...

Matt, Beth, Joy, and I spent a lot of time thinking out the perfect Omiyage to bring. Shidara wants chocolate. Megan has her wish list. Mami says don't bring anything. We need something to leave with Kodo. Hmmmm .... What would represent Boston? Lobsters? Clam Chowdah? Baked Beans? RED SOX!?! It was game day, it was beautiful outside so I scooted to Fenway and bought a BASEBALL and stand. I figure it will look nice displayed somewhere in Kodo Village.

Then I went onto Craig's list and found a couple t-shirts that I was sure would be a hit in Japan. What could go better than t-shirts and baseball? We're sure to be a hit.

Now onto other things. Joy is getting bags of miniature candy bars - apparently Shidara has a sweet tooth. Beth is getting Maple Sugar Candy, and I've got personal stuff for Megan. My bag is already 1/2 filled with food. What else does one really need besides shoes?

There! I suppose you can say that I have 'officially' started packing! Whew! I'm tired, time to go to bed! More later!
